GOLF COURSES
Three outstanding courses are available for guests to enjoy. Guests in the Grand Bliss and some Grand Luxxe guests have complementary rounds of golf on the Nayar course included as benefits associated with their reservations. The other courses are the Greg Norman course and the Lakes Course, a 10 hole Executive course, are available for play too, but additional fees apply.
The Nayar course is the original course on Vidanta’s Nayarit property. According to some, it is a natural and technical masterpiece. The Jack Nicklaus designed course features 49 bunkers that protect the fairways and greens. In addition, there are 7 lakes and frequent, strong cross winds that come from the Pacific Ocean. Although it is a challenge, the course is very fun to play. The course is 18 holes, par 70 and encompasses 6,668 yards.
The Greg Norman course is the second 18 hole course on Vidanta’s massive property in Nayarit. This beautiful course with magnificent views of the Sierra Madre Mountain Range offers generous fairways, protected by immense bunkers. Indigenous trees were saved and provide a sense of longevity to the course. There are four different tee options for players, ranging from the forward tees to the Championship tees. This course has 88 bunkers and 15 lakes, so there is plenty of challenge for everyone. The course is a par 73 and 7,326 yards.
The Lakes course is the jewel of the property. It is a par 3 course with 10 holes, located in the center of the resort, underneath stretches of beautiful wooden pathways that cross the course and provide a stadium atmosphere for guests. The course includes a number of spectacular obstacles, that include lakes and sand traps on nearly every hole. There is plenty of drama for guests walking home from an evening out as they observe the players below. The course is open until about 10 or 11 PM for night play.
